Renovation finished? Your pre-move cleaning checklist
Renovation dust finds its way into corners. Plan the cleaning before the furniture arrives. This guide helps you ask useful questions and explain the job clearly. Every site and provider is different, so use it as a starting point rather than a substitute for a site assessment.

Why after-renovation cleaning is different
Fine dust, protective films, adhesive marks and building residue are different from everyday household dirt.
What to do first
Check that the builders have removed bulky waste and that water and electricity are safe to use.
Easy-to-miss areas
Remember window tracks, cupboard interiors, light fitting surfaces and tile joints.
The final check before moving in
Ask the provider which surfaces or specialist materials they cannot treat.
A message you can use for your enquiry
“Hi! I'd like to arrange cleaning in Malaysia. The location is ___, the property type is ___ and the area is about ___. My preferred date is ___, and the main things to clean are ___. I can share photos. Could you check team availability and let me know whether a site visit is needed?”
